The Hyderabad International airport is the first green field airport in India covering an area of 5400 acres. The terminal building features a modern style design with a distinctive shape, using a large quantity of Hunter Douglas façade, ceiling, interior cladding products and parts for window covering. The Bull nose shape façade design attracts attention from all visitors thanks to the intelligent combination of Hunter Douglas Honeycomb panels. The 300C custom designed false ceiling at departure level follows a curved roof profile to give a dynamic and streamlined look for the entire area. The Ceiling is designed with curved carriers and special clips to hold panels with 70mm gaps to provide smoke extraction. Its specially designed temple leaf false ceiling under skylights boasts a smart yet stretched visual effect while allowing natural light into the building and blurring the limitation between light and shadow. Honeycomb internal wall panels provide crisp and seamless finish to walls at arrival and departure levels. The motorized blinds control heat and glare entering the PTB. Hunter Douglas is proud to be associated with this project which is the symbol of economic revolution in India.
