The Therapeutic Diagnosis Centre is part of the Talca Hospital Architectural Standardization Program in progress at present. According to the architect, the exterior should present an image of modernity and technology that could give a hint to the functional destination of the building. Due to the particular demands for a public building that represents the department of Welfare and Health at the highest level, the exterior cladding is an element that indicates its high functionality, hygiene, and durability. This is amply accomplished by Hunter Douglas tile cladding, which protects the construction from the climate of the region and has minimum maintenance costs, also gives an aspect of cleanness and impeccability corresponding to the high demands that are inherent to its function as Hospital.
